Frequently asked questions
What is a tradeline?
A tradeline is any credit account that appears on a credit report, such as a credit card, auto loan or mortgage. Each tradeline shows the lender, account type, open date, credit limit, balance and payment history. A purchased authorized-user tradeline adds a seasoned card's history to your credit file.
How does an authorized-user tradeline work?
The card's primary holder adds you as an authorized user. When the issuer reports the account to the credit bureaus under your Social Security number, the account's age, limit, balance and payment history can appear on your report. You do not receive a physical card or access to the line, and you are not legally responsible for the debt.
How long does a tradeline take to post?
Our listings state that tradelines typically post within 1-15 business days after the statement date shown on the product. Orders should be placed at least 3 business days before the statement date to be included in that cycle; later orders roll to the following cycle. Posting depends on the card issuer and each credit bureau.
Will a tradeline raise my credit score?
We do not guarantee any score increase, approval or funding result. Results depend on your complete credit profile, including payment history, utilization, credit age and recent inquiries. Newer FICO versions give authorized-user accounts less weight than accounts you own.
What happens if my tradeline does not post?
If a warranty is included or purchased, a verified non-posting qualifies for one replacement of equal or lesser value, subject to the Terms of Service. Non-posting must be reported by email with a three-bureau credit monitoring report. Active fraud alerts, credit freezes, or a negative account with the same bank can prevent posting.
Do you offer refunds?
All sales are final. Replacement protection is available under the warranty terms in our Terms of Service, and a refund is only provided where the Terms say so or where the law requires it.
Why do you need my Social Security number?
Card issuers and the credit bureaus match an authorized user to a credit file using the Social Security number, name and the address on the file. Without it we cannot add you to an account. You enter it after reading and signing the Terms, and it is sent over an encrypted connection to our order-processing mailbox.
Can I buy more than one product in a single order?
Yes. Add as many products and quantities as you like to the cart and check out once. You sign the Terms one time, submit your information one time, and receive one invoice for the whole cart.
Do you offer business tradelines?
Yes. Business tradelines are listed on the marketplace and are described as reporting to Creditsafe, Dun & Bradstreet and Equifax. Read each product description for the limit and terms.
How do I pay?
After you sign the Terms and submit your details, an invoice for the whole order is emailed to you automatically. It lists your items, the total and how to pay. Your order is processed once payment is received.
